my 5.9 has a CEL

Have you tried clearing the codes? Then trying to put it into gear? Or does the CEL come right back on?

I know your helping me on facebook, i just want to put it out there for someone that might have delt with this before..

My 5.9 has had an issue with cold starts every once in a while, when its below freezing, it fires up and will die when put in gear, then in park if you rev it up real good, it will stumble and backfire in the higher RPM's.. (2700+)

Also, when accelerating at WOT occasionally it will pull hard and then fall on its face, studdering/bucking..

Could these be signs of a bad fuel pump. It does have almost 170k..
