Hey guys, just introducing myself. My name is bo, i live in Tampa Fl. Currently im driving an 06 M3 CSL, but my past vehicle was a 07 4d rubicon 6speed with a winch, lightforce lights etc.... Miss it a lot actually, even though the M is a blast. Well, i have been looking around at getting back into something to DD so i can park the baby and noticed how cheap you can pick up XJs for. Found a couple around here on craigslist for 800-1k which is what im looking for. this will give me a hopefully reliable vehicle for daily use, when it rains etc.. 4x4 for when i go hunting, and a general bang around vehicle.

Any advice on what i should look for when buying??. Here is a copy of the one im looking at.

I got my 94 from Craigslist for $800 with 180,000 so I would say its a good deal. Try and get a 91 or newer it will have the non vacuum front axle. Look for rust in the floor boards that can be a pain to fix.

not worth the price. you can definitely find something a lot cleaner for the same price
