I have an 87 with a 2.8 6 cyl, 5 speed manual trans, and a 207 t-case.
My drive line is the pencil shaft with the cv joint. I need to toss it and replace it.
I found this info, but would like to clarify before I buy the parts this week. If I understand correctly, I need a front drive shaft from a ZJ grand Cherokee that had a 5 speed manual trans ax-15. I also need a Dana 30 yoke out of a newer xj. Any specific year or are they all the same?
I currently have 4 inches of lift. My front flange to flange measurement is 28 3/16. I'm changing the front lift to 6 inches this weekend, so it will change a little.
Is my information complete and correct? If not please fill me in. Thanks
