I am looking to see if there is any interest in doing a weekend run at Windrock. Nothing formal but I do have the ability to get Wthe event catered for a small fee and east Tennessee is gorgeous in the spring. Anyone interested?

The "Places to ride in the southeast" sticky has a link to Windrock, but it doesn't work. I did a search on Google, and only see an ATV park called Windrock. I see something called Coal Creek, but it too seems to be only for ATVs.

They are both the same...and they do have more ATVs there than vehicles
This sounds like a really good idea...lets get it going...

theres camping right at the bottom of the mountain where the trails start :D makes for a short drive (200+ feet?) to the trailhead

Sounds good to me. I hope I can swing the mods and time to go. Any requirements for vehicles (tags, insurance, etc.)? What about a ballpark date, early March, mid-April, etc.?

i was thinking maybe late march or mid april somewhere in there. i know that we don't require any tag or insurance info as there will be no street driving involved but i'm not sure what NAXJA requires for events......

This will be the first Tennessee Valley Jeepers official ride of the year and we will try to set a date and discuss the possibility of catering in the next few weeks. I know that some of you need to ask off of work far in advance so we will get more details and let you know.
