I custom made a rooftop tire carrier for my rig a while back using Thule gutter mounts, bars, and a TJ rear tire mount. Yesterday the carrier met it's maker when I entered a garage and forgot it was up there. :eek: It actually held up much better than I anticipated, but one of the Thule bars is toast and gutter mounts are tweaked to hell.
Does anyone have an old Thule bar sitting in their garage collecting dust? As long as it's straight and still has the vinyl coating on it...I am interested. Thanks!
