Saw a few XJ's in Roanoke, VA, once white, nicely built. the other nicely built and red, for sale (saw on Williamson road I think? Or was hit Hershburger..dont' remember).
Anyway, speak up if you're here!

The red one might have been RoanokeXJ as his red 1995 XJ is for sale. He is a member of SWVA4W (http://www.swva4w.org/membersrides.htm) so if you check their website you should see the XJ under members rides in the photo section.

What's a SoCal guy like you doing in Roanoke?
One of my son's buddies lives up there. Tells me there are quite a few lifted XJs up there.
3 hrs to the south in Raleigh there are a lot as well.
If your there for the weekends go to a Virginia Tech football game in Blacksburg....45 west of Roanoke. They have a pretty good team again this year.

Class of '97. I fell in love with the area and stayed. The most distict feature of my XJ are its Tomken bumpers and rails. The front bumper has a very square and industrial look to it.
This picture (http://mabg.ninthwonder.com/balexander/pictures/2003/04_24/PICT0020_800.jpg) is as good as I could find right now.
I have plans for tonight so I probably can not make it. Do you guys have a listserv?

Hmm, don't know that I've ever seen you around before. We have a listserv, but you have to be a member to be on it. Dues are 16$ Here's a pic of mine in case you've seen me around...(it's not very shiny lately though ;)) http://filebox.vt.edu/users/arebrahi/Jeep%20pictures/103-0331_AUT.JPG

I haven't noticed your rig around. Are you talking about the sinking creek club? A bunch of us have tried contacting you gyts before and got nowhere. The other clubs had concluded you guys didn't really exist any longer as a club.

Yup, Sinking Creek 4 Wheel Drive Association, or SC4WDA for short. We meet every other Wednesday in the Litton-Reeves parking lot at 7:30. We pretty much disband during the summers though, 'cause no one is still in town. I've also heard others say that they couldn't get ahold of us when they tried, but we are very alive and kicking. Come check us out! :) Peace
