F150 front coils?

What coils from and F150 should I use on my xj?
Year?
Engine size?
Amount of lift?

I know that it's not gonna be the best ride but I'm on a budget.

Any Ideas or suggestions will be appreciated.

Coils spacers and keep the stock springs. Best ride probably just as cheap.

I think he wants 4.5"s of lift. Doing that with spacers is scetchy.

I just pulled a set of Ford springs out from under my Jeep. With the Ford springs and 2" spacers I got close to 4.5" lift. If I remember correct, they were in a truck with a small block V8. I think about anything in the 70 & 80 will work.
The ride wasn't as bad as everyone says.

so a set of f-150 springs will give around 2.0" - 2.5" of lift?

interesting. all I'd need to buy is an OME add a leaf or an s10 spring pack
at that point.

u can also use coils from a zj with a v8 to get about 2-3 inches with close to the same ride quality

Not true. The V8 ZJ springs only give about 1.5 inches.

It obviously differs from truck to truck, milage to milage and driver to driver.

Too many variables to ever label a used set of springs with any measurement of lift.

i got two and a half with zj v8 springs. still rides like a caddy in the riverbed. lol

I got 4 1/2 inches out of my s10 leaf's. If you only want 2 1/2 inches don't use the full s10 pack.

I recently read that putting the main leaf and maybe one of the other smaller leaves will usually give you around 2.5-3".

We have the main leaf from and s-10 in a 94 and got around 4.5 to 5 in.

This is it.

Its got a 1.5 shackle so we got 3.5 or so.

We used coils off 92 f150 with 6 cyl and got 2"
