I just put control arm drop brackets on my XJ and now I noticed my draglink/tie rod is hitting my JKS discos on the passenger side when I turn. What do I have out of whack?

This also happens to me at full lock to the right. (5.5")
Where the Tierod/Draglink connect hits the axle mount for the anti-sway bar.
The steeper steering angles raise the connection point for the TR/DR,
are you sure this started with the installation of the drop brackets?
You either have to change your steering or mounts...or deal with it, I do.

jeeperjohn I believe your thinking of the anti-swaybar hitting the coil, right?
Thanks for hooking up my little brother this summer Rick,
kid that forgot to order the D30 carrier, green 2dr.
I am the one who built his $hit minus the welding.

How can I change it back to the correct position. I noticed my upper control arms have two sets of holes in them could this possibly fix it? Thanks for the info

You would shorten your uppers, but will increase your pinion angle.
The D.B. will push your axle forward to center of wheel well over being too far back ie. shorter wheelbase and further from the steering box.

How much lift do you have?

My mount is bent but still holds disco. fine.
I'm sure yours is worse than mine, thing to do would be to cut and relocate mount.
What are you using for your steering setup?

@ 8" even with DB I'd use adjustable arms, you're not using the stock arms are you?
