Yeah, I rode shotgun a few years ago for that run. If I wasn't busy creating a hangover, all the downtime wouldn't have been much fun. I remember a loooooong line of trucks just waiting to get up a short section of FB5.
I may show on Sunday - I'm kinda waiting to see how the week goes. My Granmother-in-Law passed this morning, I'm not sure when the memorial is planned, and whether the wife will be in the mood to wheel.
On a side note, I've got a friend that wants to come along that is a semi-professional photographer. Don't know about you, but checking out wheeling or racing (RC) pics a few times a day while at the office kinda reminds me why I'm here. "Just... gotta... make it... 'til... Friday...". Be cool to have some really good ones.

After thinking about it, friday does not work. I have a balljoint with an extreme amount of movement and you can actually see it seperating, and it cannot be replaced untill friday afternoon.

Sunday is the day! I would like to do a trip just like this last one.. meet up around 9.. be back in town by 5..

Try to get to Rogers early in the day, and you'll have no problem finding a group. A lot of snow melted off, and now it's just a sloppy mess up there.

I know some people don't like mud but I think it's fun to play in from time to time. Besides sometimes need to reapply some mud to the rigs, it helps hold them together.

I ran with the Pistons Wild group yesterday. It wasn't the most technical day, but it was an absolute blast. It rained a good portion of the day, so I didn't have my camera out that much. I snapped a few though, and will get a mini report up later tonight.

Yeah I think trails are way better unless you have a sand rail to play in.

Sand Lake is fun as hell if you run small tires with stock gears but I also have a 99 just a bit more power. If you were to go on a Saturday I bet I could get BigDog to go. All I would have to say is I would take my boat and crab fishing gear.
