1988 shortbed comanche

Rebuilt engine runs like a scared rabbit

Only major problem we're sitting with right now is the slave was going out on it and is now out after driving it home.
Not going to pull the trans and put the ba10 back into it so now looking for a ax15 with the external slave and a transfercase so if you run across one you dont need let us know!!

Secksi!!!!

I have that B-pilar vent if you need one.

Just FYI: If you plan on swapping in bucket seats, don't discard that bench seat! You can use the brackets from the bench seat, drill the rivets and spot welds to get 'em off (both the bench and the XJ buckets) and then simply bolt the bench brackets to the bucket seat frames.

Oh sure, I see how you are. Give my hell about staying out of your super duper pile 'O' MJ parts and now you are handing them out like candy!

Nice MJ!

Thanks for the cudos!
Hit the U Pulls today, dam the snow was a pain, but picked up a lower dash panel to replace the broken one on the dash, found a new grill, driver's side headlight bezel, turn signal lense and a new air cleaner box.

Yella, thanks for the offer, but actually found two good side vent covers also!

Now the best part, found a 1996 XJ with a AX15, tranny and external slave bell housing. Missing the external slave, speedo connector, the CPS and of all things the cross member and trans mount.

Figure we will be using the speedo assembly off the MJ, and the CPS, since everything is working. We understand the AX trans mount is different than the mount for the BA10. Is the trans mount available at Autozone or Napa, or do we need to find one at the junkyard?

Also read that the external slave and master are sold as a complete unit? Anyone know for sure?

Planned on putting in a new clutch and slave anyway when we pull the tranny.

This project is coming along leaps and bounds. Even have leads on swapping out the bench seat for buckets and a consol. Just wish money was as plentyful as parts lol

And just so everyone understands, we haven't given up on Cherokees! We still have 4 of them we are constantly working on!

Got to lov'em

Lots of good swap info this thread and it should answer your questions. I am getting ready to do the same to my MJ. I am still looking for a complete donor rig.
