i tried searching for what i think may be the problem but i couldnt seem to find anything that convinced me.
somedays my jeep will run like a champ. but other times ill be going down the road at a steady idle and my motor will just cut out until i either give it gas or take my foot off the gas. also when it has this problem and im just sitting at a stop light it will run with a really low/rough idle like its going to die but never actually gets to the point of dying.
btw its an 87 with a 2.5L
the only things i have tried so far are new plugs/wires and new dist cap and rotor.

thanks for your thoughts.
