09/2010 IC Snowboard/ski season

Late on my annual thread this season. Though the snow was also late but we did get dumped on last week.

I won't be hitting slopes without a knee brace, and havn't found or seriously looked for one yet. I'm way overdue on gear (12+ year old boots, bindings, board, pants.. and just purchased camera gear and running shoes instead :eyes:) so I havn't had any motivation to start this season at all. When I don't get to board I tend to not like winter at all and dream of moving south.

Anyone been up yet? Jeff? Stratton? How are the slopes? Got pics?

I hope to get out more this season too. I scored some Outdoor Expo passes and hope to get some cool swag and/or discounts on a couple of sets of snow shoes. Tamara has been wanting to get some for years now.

Mason and I are planning on heading up to Powder Mtn on the 24th, it'll be my first time out this season. Mason has his 6th Grade pass so he gets one free lift pass to each resort in the state.

BTW, I have four 2 for 1 lift passes for Snowbird that expire on Dec 25th. Let me know if you can use them.

Last minute invite to go to Brighton from my brother this morning. Took it easy and got some carving in. Beautiful day, nice and warm up there out of the inversion.

Got her all new gear this year. I got new pants.
