8.25 or Dana 44?

Looking for a doner rig for axles. I have seen a few 87 tow packages out there with the 44, but have also seen plenty with the 8.25. Which do you guys prefer for strength, durability, after market support and so on?

BTW, Dana 44. It's bigger in every way... and has more options in the aftermarket.
