A 23 spline t-case fit on it. I know it's a 23 spline t-case because I counted the splines. It's one I got from Rredalty. It came out of an XJ. I'm not sure what year it came out of (I didn't know they we're different).

ahhhh.... i thought it was the original from the 'manche. i need a 21 spline, or a 23 spline and a 23 spline 242.... mine still works, but who knows how long?

Ok, so I'm an idiot. It's a 21 spline AW4. I counted the splines tonight. I didn't realize the output shaft was that much smaller.

Will That engine Bolt up to a 95? how many miles are on it? im VERY interested.

yeah, it will bolt up just fine. any of the 4.0's are interchangeable, with only a few small changes.
