Fine here in the middle. It's sunny outside and I can turn around and look out the window at the snow on top of the Rocky Mountains. (Boulder, CO)

It's going to be one of those days...... I'm backing up systems prior to relocating them down to St. Louis. Turn on the monitor on one of the chemical modelling stations, log in, and watch the monitor fade from a nice image to pure black. And nothing brings it back.

Fortunately, it's under warranty.

Unfortunately, there aren't any of those monitors in stock at the moment.

Fortunately, it's an HP-UX station, and I and run everything remotely.

My day seems to be going pretty well. But people around me are dropping like flies! Truth is, it may take a week before I find out I had a bad day today. I hate when that happens.

They have been killin' me these past few days and it's only getting worse. We've been working overtime these past couple of months ever since they announced more layoffs (go figure) so I and the other potential layoffs have been working all the OT we can so we have a nest egg. With a rudder pcu change one night and a apu generator change the next (my week started saturday night/sunday morning) I'm looking forward to the rest of the week, NOT!! Got to keep those planes flying safely.:D

I just went into hour 15 and will probably be here another 2 hours. This is the 2nd 15+ hour day since the holiday.

At least I'm hourly. :thumbup:

Yeah , today was bad and the rest of the week is just gonna drag along also, im havin to work extra for teh money to go on a trip :) a wheeling trip you ask? no, sorrowful as i may be, its not a wheeling trip :( even worse, im carting friends down to atlanta, which wouldnt be so bad, cept its for that NOPI deal. yeah, yeah, i hate rice as much as the next guy, but at least it gets me away from the house and on the road... meybe there will be drags, the rokee does pretty good... anyway, should be pretty boring.
