Either. I have one commercial property that I rent. Was thinking of small houses. 2 or 3 bedroom. The town I'm in has a shortage of houses in good areas that are not outragously expensive.

I have one rental. It's pretty cut and dry though. I rent it to my inlaws. You do have to watch some cities, they may require you to have a business license and attend classes to be a "landlord". Personally I think it's just another way to line the cities pockets with your money.

Been doing some research seems like the best way to buy houses is from a morgage company. How and where do I get a list of these properties and can they be obtained without suscribing to a service?

I have a few residential properties, but they are all in the Pacific Northwest. Washington, Oregon and Idaho. I am interested in Virgina, as I may be moving out there soon. I have only been renting them out for the past three years....So Far so good.......But I hate the :paperwork , barely have time for anything else....
Besides owning rental's I am a Loan Officer at a Mortgage Company. If anybody needs any help getting a loan let me know. If I'm not licensed in your state I know someone who is!!!
