My family does this thing where we pull names out of a hat (if anyone draws their own name we try again) then everyone posts a list and we pick a random thing off the list for the person we drew. I can't even think of anything to put on the list this year... the only things I really want in life now are either way too expensive or not something money can buy.
ahh hell, I just bought a set of inverse torx bits and I'm exchanging my sawzall under warranty later tonight. I guess I'll settle for that.
EDIT: lol @ title btw

I've been to Colorado a few times, but never to board. Would LOVE to make it out there soon.
My brother's ex's grandparents own like an entire mountain out in Telluride, maybe I'll have to ask him if they're still on good terms :D

I asked for a nice CB/antenna kit. Hopefully Santa comes through. It will be nice to not have to deal with the cheap hand-held one that always forgets what channel its on.

I'm asking for some basic stuff. A CB antenna, d rings for the new bumpers, tow strap w/o hooks, and maybe a winch although I highly doubt that will ever happen.

ow strap w/o hooks
I can testify 100% against hooks. I damn near died the other day from one. Was sitting in the jeep with 2 straps connecting to another truck. Right in the middle was the hook, probably weighed 5lbs. Mistake 1. The hatch was open so I could hear what was going on behind me. Mistake 2.
After one hard pull the strap broke and we heard a VERY loud "PING". We all thought it was just the line tearing, until we noticed the hook was gone. After a little rummaging around, we found it in the back of the jeep. It had sling-shotted into the back of the rear seat, putting a HUUGE dent in it. Right in line with my elbow. If the rear seat had been folded down, it would most definitely have shattered every bone in my arm. A little better aim and a little less luck, and a blow to the head would definitely have ended me.

haha I got a better story. The day my friend got his cherokee he took it out and got it buried in what basically amounted to quicksand. I get a call at 4 in the morning and didn't feel like takin my jeep so I took my pop's tahoe. Got there and all my dad has is a strap with hooks. So we hooked it up on the hitch of the tahoe and of course the jeep has no tow points at all. So I let him hook it up on the jeep. Got in and started to pull him. All I hear is BOOM! and a crash. Hook went through the sheet metal, through the interior trim on the door, and stuck into the back seat. That is why you never use a strap with hooks.

just mounted them up :party:these tires are great. they where so easy to balance it was a joke, the most was 2.50 ounces and the least was .75 ounces and they are so friggin quiet for what they are at 55 mph there is a slight but satisfying hum and they ride so smooth. I don't know what Good Year did but they did something right. pics will be up soon
Thanks sabta:D

Also, looks like I might be buying a geared, locked d30 for $300 instead of a set of gears for mine for $250.
