Time has come, I need an automatic (for health reasons, NOT because I do not like 5-speeds in Jeeps).
I have a 99 Wrangler with about 76k miles on the odometer. I ordered the Jeep in 1998 and am the original owner. This Jeep has been my baby. I have all the receipts since day one. Yes, it has been offroaded-its a Jeep.
The good:
4.0 l, AX15, NP231
Aftermarket Dana 44 rear with disc brakes and detroit locker.
4.10:1 gears in diffs
Ramsey Pro Plus 9000 winch
Hella 500 off road lights
Swing away tire carrier
Rock bumpers
MORE rocker bars
Bestop safari top
Rancho rockcrawler suspension system
1" body lift
Rancho RS9000 shocks w/ separate compressor
OB air
MORE gas tank skid
MORE welded in cage
Currie steering linkage
The bad
Dent in body where Jeep was backed into by an F150
OBA compressor does not cut out anymore (maybe pressure switch)
One nut in TC skid is stripped out
There is so much done to this TJ that I cannot list.
I will trade for a 1998 or 1999 XJ Cherokee. Must have 4.0 liter, automatic, agate interior, and 4 wheel drive. My preference is a stock Classic to start with. Let me know if there is any interest. Yes, I will sell this Jeep outright, then go by a Cherokee. I am located in SW Houston.
Tires and wheels are not included. I will swap you for yours. As set up 33" tires will clear no problem.
