Which longarm crossmember is better, Clayton or Rusty's?

I am trying to figure out which cross member is better the Clayton or Rusty's? I was going to make one but with a full plate I have resorted to buying one, as much as I don't want to. So from experience what are your opinions on which is better. Thanks.

Clayton is a much more reputable company, Rusty's is really hit or miss.

Are those your only choices?

Think about ground clearance and breakover angle.

I would go with Rock Krawler or TNT Customs before either of those

Those are the only companies that publicly advertise the crossmember alone. I already have the long arms made. Does anybody else sell just the crossmember?

I'm running Claytons, pure beef.
The Rustys looks like there standard crossmember ( I bend one ) with a few mounts added.

go clayton definately. i've had both and clayton's is a hell of a lot stronger

I have had my rusty's long arms for a long time and haven't had any problems with them. Couldn't be happier. But i've got to give it to trecks for the full belly skid and the mounts for the arms are tucked up out of the way which i like too. I'm positive that iff you called or emailed them thay would sell you a cross member.

I agree with nochance if you see another one that you like call the company they will more then likely sell just the cross member. If you are set on choosing between the two I would go with the Clayton for sure.

Since you said you already have the arms made,then whatever length you made them will impact what "might" work.There is no "standard" length for LA's
