Well after buying an o2 sensor,new timing chain and it still ran like a bag of poop, i decided to completely removed the EGR valve system, purrs like a kitten now. Just gotta change my TPS now though, has a flat spot in the acceleration around 2500-3000 where it hesitates.

Thank god i live up in canada where our emissions laws aren't very strict cause i would hate to have to put the egr system back on, costs like 275-300 for a new one.

Congrats on getting it running. But, you're lucky you live in Manatoba. If it were Ontario, you'd be coming up with another solution. Again, good going.

They are rapeing you on that EGR, I just bought one for $45 at the local Advance Auto. I havent priced the solonoid, but I can't imagine it being more than $50 or so.
