I bought an M-416 1/4 ton military trailer to pull behind the Jeep but I need to convert the bolt pattern to 5 on 4 1/2 so it's the same as the Jeep. I've hear that it's easy to obtain a different hub with the correct bolt pattern , but the local trailer shop to me was'nt able to help me. Anybody have any suggestions?? I don't want to go the wheel spacer route as I feel that may push rims with 3 3/4 b/s out too far, and I did'nt want to run dual pattern rims as they would be different that the Jeeps. I know I have options but those I just mentioned are after the hub option. Thanks in advance jeepers.

Thanks, Doug

I'm not familiar with the spindle setup on those trailers but you could just take it down to a shop and have the pattern redrilled on the hubs. Depends on what they look like but most places are anywhere from $25-$50 each.

Here's a trailer tech site that you'll love...search for a build thread from Exiled (Henry). He's got the sweetest M416 i ever saw, and he mentions a cheap source for the hub assemblies for the M416/M100/M101CDN.
