Damn Kent. How did you lose multiple bolts from your bellhousing? Weren't you the one complaining about Keven's supposed ghetto fab.
Torque wrench. Live it. Love it.

Well this wouldn't be my fault! when was the last time u accully checked ur bellhousing bolts before u replaced ur engine???? didn't iknow they jsut came loose!!! so maybe there wasn't a rod knock and there might not be anything wrong with the enigne but i am replacing the enigne, flywheel, and then maybe the torq converted while i am at it!! so that will be sic! Sean do u know what size those inside out trox are??
Peace

pretty sure those bolts were 7/16's course thread, but the might be 3/8's. What ever you do, don't replace them with torx heads bolts, but get some standard Grade 8 hex and be done with those friggin torx nightmares. The knock that you might have heard was your torque converter spinning at a wacky angle.

yo stoney, i swear it is your motor making that knock. sean p has a good idea but that sound was coming from the middle of the motor, and when i was under it listening to it, the shound was no where near the tranny. if it was tranny parts it would have shakken the car. oh, wait it shook no matter what. anyways "ITS ALL GOOD RIGHT" see ya under the hood

How much are lbs are you supposed to torque the bellhousing bolts too?
O on a second note...I found a 75k mile motor for $850 including all the accessories, fuel injection, intake etc. Good price?

I bought a 98 with intake, injection, exhaust with 28K for $900. I think that price is about 200 too high. Of course mine didn't have alt, waterpump, ac, etc.
