What is the best way to correct sagging rear ends on XJ'S? I would imagine its just the leaf springs that cause the sag?

Bingo... Get new leaves or do an AAL

You hit the nail on the head with that one! Replace the leaf packs, if you just add shackles to the already sagging packs it will make for a horrible ride. However if you are on a tight budget as I am just through the damn shackles on until you can save the cash to get new packs.

or if you dont want or cant get shackles you can always use a lift block

Blocks would just weaken the leafs faster. He's not lifting it remember. You need to replace em. NEW stock leafs are pretty cheap compared to lift items. I have a set from an 01 with only 7,000 miles on em you could have for $50 US, but shipping is costly, especially to Hockeyland.
