Adopt-a-trail ??????????

The Forest Service is opening some roads up and wanted to know if any local (sort of) clubs are interested in adopting them.
It's between Oroville and Bucks Lake in the Granite Basin.

If there is some interest, I'll get some more info.

WHAT!!! they open roads instead of just closing them. It would probably be a good thing for us to do our part so I am for it.

roads, or trails, or do we get the dynamite to make them trails :) I have heard of the area but how far is it from here(sac).

It's a new "roads to trails" program. I'm hopin' we can find something challenging in the area.
It's a coupla hours from here.

Karl, all I know is the trails are in the Granite Basin. Maybe you could check it out or talk to the local Forest Service?
