Caliper interchangability

IIRC, when i replaced the calipers on my 89, they were less then 20$ unloaded(no pads). i would just buy new ones for an 88mj. are you aking becuase your looking at getting them from a junkyard? if so, why use a 20 year old caliper over a new one?

No, I tell them it's for a 97 then get all pissy when it doesn't fit.

Of course I tell them it's for an 88, but information like this gets filed away for later in those "just in case" moments.
