Hey, has anyone seen that insurance commercial where someone drops something at the top of a hill? As the stuff rolls down & crashes into stuff, it forms a ball & collects everything in it's path. At one point, it collects a black Cherokee. Upon doing so, I scream out..."No, that was a Cherokee":rattle: (wife & daughter look at me like "Yep, he's surely lost his mind")
Well, the ball of debris hits a wall & out pops the Cherokee unscathed! Aftre seeing that, I'm jumping up & down cheering!:yelclap:
Keep an eye out for it.

I notice every XJ on TV and my wife thinks I'm nuts. Tons of them are used in Hollywood. Meredith in Grey's Anatomy has one :laugh3:. Grey's and Friday Night Flights are the only 2 shows I watch.

my favorite is the opening scene of the goonies where the xj is walking all over the other trucks in that 4x4 race

Saw it for the first time last night... apparently my wife had already seen it - 'cause as soon as it came on, she said "Oh, no!". I got the same reaction...
Told my wife it wasn't the insurance, the Jeep is just that tough. Her reply: "You're just that crazy"!!

Just saw it this morning. I thought it was a commercial for a new Katamari video game at first.

Yup seen that one and had the same reaction.....notice how good it looked when the ball crashed into the building too

There's also a nationwide commerical where some chick is putting on make up or something and rear ends the guy infront of her...and she was driving an XJ.

It's one of those "am i covered?" commericals.
