Anyone else participating in No Shave November?


Im two weeks into it, and my face is already feeling warmer and fuzzier. :clap:





My girlfriend already hates me, and Im looking forward to Thanksgiving to see my family!

I also participate in Optional Shaving October and follow NSN up with Don't Shave December, and occasionally I will participate in Just Don't give a F**k January.

Only once have I taken it to Fro-Faced February.



I may make it to Might Shave March this time.

haha yeah i did it last year and for some reason decided to keep it until new years. it was pretty burly. im a week and half in right now. im on a ski forum and everybody is posting pictures of theirs, posted mine, and was called a cheater

I didn't shave for about two years once... right at the end of freshman year I shaved it all off. Several of my friends didn't even recognize me. Problem is, when I grow a beard it is... thick and scraggly at the same time, so I end up looking like a crazed hobo. It's not good.

This summer I did not shave for two months. It all started cause I was camping for a month, but then I remembered how much I liked it and it stayed for another month. I highly recommend it:D

Not shaving is only allowed for men. Women are not permitted to not shave.

My 18yo son just came to visit from college this last weekend, and is proudly participating in NSN. Unfortunately for him, he got the same facial hair genes as my brother (who finally succeeded in growing a beard at age 50), and he's sporting maybe 3/16" of blond wisps on the point of his chin. But hey, he's trying.

I haven't shaved since Halloween.Me and 5 or 6 other guys at work decided to do No Shave November - everyone has since dropped out except me and 1 other guy.

No way... not without coloring. Mine now comes in all grey, not crazy about that. At least I still have a full head of hair with very few grey hairs.

I had a wedding to go to in November so I kept a trimmed beard for the first couple weeks. I always grow one in the winter anyway. But, I haven't even trimmed up in about 3 weeks so it's getting shaggy. I wanna try and let this one run out till March. But, January is a more realistic goal. Hunting season ends...no need for the mountain man look.

I'm going on 3 months or so, I pulled a couple gray hairs out of my beard the other day and those were around to 3" in length! This isn't too bad though, I went all summer before my last shave and haircut and by the time I trimmed everything I could almost tie the hair on my forehead to the hair on my chin:wow:

Just be careful when you start getting old, heavy, and gray. My parents and sister went out to eat a week or so ago and there was this one little girl that kept looking at Dad kinda funny. Finally her mother spoke up and apologized before telling Dad that the reason her daughter kept staring at him was that she thought he was Santa:laugh3: There have been more than a few occasions that he's looked and acted a little like Denver Pyle (Jesse Duke) too..........
