Changing bulbs in cluster

I am thinking of changing the bulbs in my cluster as they are'nt very bright. Has anyone done this and know the bulb size and/or any obvious problems with changing them before I go at it.

what year is your vehicle?

there's also an LED thread around somewhere that people have been dumping info into

Its a 93 XJ with a full cluster.

It uses #194 bulbs behind the gauges and turn indicators, probably 5 for dial backlighting and 3 for indicators
