Whats the deal with this axle? They regularly sell for around $250 to $350 anymore. But in the last month I have seen people asking $400 plus for bone stock, and or missing and few pieces. Rare? You can find at least one on at least one board at any given time. I remember a few years ago when you could fetch $500 plus for one. But they don't demand those prices anymore. Whats with thr sellers all of a sudden making this big push to get more $$$ for them? I picked up one a while ago with one alloy shaft and 4.56s for $250, and I thought that was to much.

I've sold them for $350.00 +
They sell for whatever the market is willing to pay. But I'm sure you know that.

I've sold them for $500+ as well. Though asking that today would ensure a nice paper weight in my garage for the duration...................;)

Mine went for $475 with discs, no internals, and it was from a Scout, set up for an XJ.
I thought you were buying a Pink Vulva?

One of our local 4x4 junkyard dealers was selling old dana 44's out of cherokees for around $600+. Which is insane, but i guess people are actualy buying them around here for that much.

I donno man, but I think they're worth a good $350 around VA. We're digging at the bottom of the barrel here and shipping is killing us getting stuff from the west. So I don't think that sub $350 is a bad price. Hell, I'm having to go exotic on my rear end because I could find it cheap. BTW, my XJ D44 is still for sale!

Jeremy, since they're only with a five dollar price increase I'lll take those alloys, detroit, and gears off your hands for $10, I'll even give you some 3.55's, a TracLok carrier, and Spicer shafts so you can still sell the axle as complete!

They are going for around $500 around here, and they arnt even in really good condition.
Sometimes you can find them at the junker, and you can get them for a lot cheaper. But Craigslist you pay at least $400 if not more.

most junkyards here dont know the difference and rear axles go for 70$

I'll generally sell them for $350. It's still a fair price and it compensates me for the time and trouble of pulling them and hauling them around.
