please help diagnose clicking sound coming from (flywheel?)

98 cherokee sport, 4.6l golen, aw4. I have this clicking sound which i THINK is coming from the flywheel, but I know this isn't necessarily so. It sounds like there's a bolt or something tumbling around in there? dust shield is removed. It gets faster on acceleration.

Any ideas? I'm completely at a loss here.

Thanks in advance!

I would pull the spark plugs, then get under there and check the torque converter bolts (even though it doesn't sound like a loose bolt) and using a BRIGHT light and maybe a pry bar inspect the flexplate for cracks, or it could just be a rock that got thrown up in there--were you driving it with the inspection cover off?
