This is a brand new turn key crate motor built by Phoenix Engine Rebuilders in Arizona. It is a 4 bolt main with a 1014 RV cam for low end HP and torque. Comes with everything you need to run it (edelbrock carb, hugger headers fuel pump, etc..). Everything has zero miles. Here is the link for all the specs:

i'd like to put it in my waggy, but the price for the motor is more than i wanted to spend on the whole project of getting a good motor in her.

I hear you, I sold my project that it was going in. I have about $4k in this motor setup.

dang. good luck man. i'm sure it's worth it, i just don't have the green. do ya have everything, as far as power steering pump/bracket, water pump, alternator bracket, a/c compressor bracket? if i put it in mine, i'd need all that, and it might come out to about the same if i bought all that stuff...

Yes I have all that (all chromed out) except for probably the a/c bracket. I wasn't planning on running a/c with the original project. 168 tooth flywheel, headers, carb, brackets, literally a pile of boxes of new parts for this thing. I'll try and get a picture of the stuff.

Just boxes and boxes of parts with the engine, these all shipped new with the engine from Phoenix Engines, nothing has been used. You could find a craigslist motor for cheaper but you won't find a new complete high performance motor like this at this price.

Getting married and coming to the realization that multiple projects aren't a possibility for a while. I really wanted to do something with this motor but better judgment says its not the right time (for at least a couple years). As for the jeep, if I can get some money for it and wheel something cheaper it would benefit me in more ways than one. Plus, that jeep has been my dd since 04 and since I have a different dd now I can't bring myself to kick the sh!t out of it as a trail rig even though thats really all it is these days. I don't need it day to day and its too nice to just be a trail rig.

If this was a year from now when I'm graduated from college and have more money, I would buy it for my C3 in a heartbeat.
