Firefox 2.0 is out, also get the developers tool bar on the add on page. Seems good so far, treats java a bit better..

It is better on memory use for me. A couple crashes so far, but it recovers VERY nicely.

I'm loving the tab close ON the tab. Haven't had any issues, seems to use less memory for me as well. Spell check RULES! Plus the new buttons are better!

umm... yes, by a TON!
Seriously, you get spell check, more compatible with websites, less memory usage, new buttons, better security features, just read the list on Mozilla's site.

fine i upgraded... the spell check is nice. you did know before you could just click the tab with the wheel and it would close it.

Damn! Where were you when I started using Firefox years ago? That would have been nice to know... o well.
At least your not 8 or 9 versions outdated now... :)

stupid updates, this is pretty much the only one i do. aim winamp windows media player, all of em just seem to get worse when you update.

Well I upgraded the Mac. We'll see if the consistent occasional lockups happen with this version as they have the past three or four versions (certain code would freak the window out, I was never motivated enough to diagnose it as it was easy to work around).
