88 No start

My father in law has an 88 with a 4.0 that will crank but will not start. He has replaced the fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator. I don't know much about these older cherokee's any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Look into the crank sensor on the back of the bell housing in the upper drivers side corner. They can cause a no start problem
