I have a matching set D44/9" out of a bronco. The front has the weld on wedges which makes it a perfect axle for a swap into an XJ. I have $400 in these, and I would like to just get my money back out of them. Some things have come up, and I could really use the cash instead. I will consider partial trades though, but I need cash more than trades.

Justin,
Give Rich(rms692) a call. Or me as I live at his place. He may be interested to talk to you about them....

He PMed me about them earlier, and I responded. Then you guys could make a road trip, and I could meet you halfway. Then you could get the bumper, and he could get the axles.

I had big plans for these, but that upgrade will just have to wait a while.

Makes me sad as well. We just had a couple small emergencies pop up, and I need the cash. I barely got them removed from the bronco frame, and now I gotta unload them. Oh well hopefully I can find a good set later down the road when our budget permits.

I know where there is a set right now that has 5.13gears and a locker and disc brakes for the 9''. I built both axles complete rebuilds. No miles on either axles since rebuild.... I know my buddy wants to get rid of them asap but i bet he would work with ya some way or another so you could get them... if you want more info let me know.

Weld on wedges? What year is it out of?

They are weld on wedges. I was about to cut them off with the plasma before I decided I had to sell them. I figured whoever might buy them way still want to use the radius arms.

Front WMS to WMS is right at 66"
Rear WMS to WMS is right at 65.5"

They have weld on wedges, and disc brakes so I am guessing they are 76-77 model bronco axles. Also they have new front brake pads, and Mile marker hubs on the front.

Installed? I could build and install them for you, but a price would really depend on what you wanted done to them.
They are 3.50 gears so if you wanted to regear the front and back, add lockers front and back, then do all the bracketry to get it ready to install. You'd probably be talking a lot of cash to do all of that. That is the main reason i can't afford to put them into my rig right now. You'd probably be looking at buying the axles plus at least 1500-2000 on top of that for ready to install. Then you would need new wheels (bolt pattern is different), and possibly make some drive shaft changes to make them work as well.

Well I guess I will just regear and lock... I will keep looking! Thanks
