Coil Question

does anyone know if an
OME light load front xj coil 2" lift
give the same lift as
OME med load TJ coil 2" lift. ?
or does the load affect height of xj,

and if i go with the light load
if i add heavier bumpers latter , can i just add spacers to adjust height and get
same ride? Will the TJ coil not give me the 2 " lift?

any coil advice? anyone

as far as I know, just finished some searching on an OME kit I picked up, the coils provide the same lift but the light duty is a smaller diameter and will compress softer. IMO stick with the med or HD ones, even more so if you are planning on adding weight such as bumper and winch.

I'm pretty sure TJ coils are shorter than XJ coils by a couple of inches. I ran OME930 front coils for 4 years first without a heavy bumper then later with one. I'm sure ride height was affected by .5" but don't remember much change in the overall ride. Later when I put a winch on things did get pretty soft.

Yup - stock XJ coils will give 1-2" lift on a TJ.
