Posting this for a friend of mine. He made this to go in the back of his son's XJ. This is a very well made box. It will take up all of the cargo area. It also has a high-lift jack mount on the back of it. If interested send me a pm and I will give you his number.

Are the drawers on slides or just wood to wood?

There are heay-duty slides. Like you would find on a toolbox.

Not sure, but it takes two people to pick it up and put it in the back of the jeep. After putting it his son's XJ (all stock) it needed a add-a-leaf to pick the back end up to make it level.
