Ok, found my extreme heat problem. A HUGE section of cancer directly above the exhaust, under the pass. seat. It's about the size, and shape of a large eggplant. The previous owner or whatever, covered it up with rubberized undercoating. Didn't even see it. Happened to find it while checking the exhaust for cracks. My hand hit the floor and the floor MOVED!! WAY too easily! CRAP!!! Now gotta try finding some patch panels or something.

not yet, still can't get the driver's seat out, to pull the carpet.

qadratec sells replacement pans, a bit pricey but worth it in the long run and the fit dept unless your good at metal fab

rockauto also sells replacement pans, about half qtec's price. I'll see if I can find a part number for you.

EDIT: for 84-96, they have it. Not sure about later. Check under Body - Exterior: Floor Pan.
