i did a long search and although there was alot of information my question is still unanswered i did the key on off 5x and the check engine light flashes 5x all the same time apart and it repeats 3x. what is the meaning if any. my check antilock light just came on and thought i would give the code thing a try. it s a 92 limited 4.0l. thanks mark

Sounds like a code 55, which just means you have reached the end of all the codes, in your case none.

You only cycle the key 3 times,and the codes will repeat twice.

I don't believe you can check the ABS using the key-on-off thing. The ABS computer is seperate from the engine computer.

2X you don't get ABS codes like that, it takes a ABS scanner.
