No spark, ignition switch problems.

Hi, i have a 1993 XJ and when i had bought it it had no key so we had to start it using a screw driver. Since then we had removed the ignition from the steering colum and installed a keyed ignition on the dash. Now before we worked on the electrical the jeep started and ran no problem, Since we replaced the components the jeep will turn over but there is no spark. We are positive that we messed up with the wiring or something, Can anyone tell me what all could have caused that? Such as all the wires that would keep it from sparking? Im getting fuel just no spark
