Custom Swaybar mounts

I'm thinking about putting a swaybar back on for when I have to drive this thing on the street. I will have to fab the axle end mounts, anyone think 1/4" would be to thin for this?

If you're feeling lazy, Mark Hinkley @ ORGS-MFG has extended links (1" and 2") for just about nothing, complete with gussets.

Thanks, think I'll do it myself. So, any thoughts on using 1/4" ?
