I did search, couldn't find very much on this subject...

Do ZJ 15" wheels (like these: http://syracuse.craigslist.org/pts/1414492967.html ) have the same backspacing as XJ wheels?

Also if i run these (or XJ wheels) with 3" lift and 31s, will I rub? I know i'll rub if i put them on with no lift...currently have 235s but I know i'll hit LCAs at full lock with 31s. After the lift, will i still hit? or do i need different backspacing to clear properly? If so, what BS? 4.5"? 4"?

Aren't those the same as the 15x8 TJ wheels? Canyon?

Canyon wheels. Canyons have 5 tapered spokes and are 15" in diameter and have an 8" wide mounting surface; thus a 15"×8" wheel. The backspacing of the Canyon wheel is 5.5 inches

Edit: NM, I can see the spokes on those ZJ wheels are tapered much more

Zj wheels and Xj wheels are the same backspacing, the 31's will rub on an Xj with 3" lift until you lower your bump stops....

31s will fit just fine on a 3" lift. you MIGHT need to do very minor trimming..

33"s will fit on a 3" lift with moderate trimming!

10.50" wide will likely rub your control arms with that much backspacing.

yep, i'm prepared for either adjusting the steering stop or just not going full lock. if i were to get new wheels, what backspacing should i get to clear the control arms?

and minor trimming is in the plans.

saw the 2nd one a long time ago, but is much more helpful now that I (sorta) know what i'm looking at when it comes to backspacing and all that stuff.
