I have an 88 XJ Laredo with the chrome luggage rack strips on the roof. Each strip has a thin black plastic strip underneath the chrome strip piece. These plastic pieces have dry rotted, are braking apart, and coming out from underneath the chrome. Does anyone know a source for these thin plastic strips? I have tried chryslerpartsdirect, but they didn't list anything.
