I've been looking at it for a couple of years now. I just can't get myself to fork out the 3k for one though or even the $300 for just the body. That's more then what I paid for my real XJ... running.

what model year is it, looks like a pre-97 with 97+ mirrors? Not sure.

EDIT: nm, large resolution pics show that the mirrors are pre-97 also, just in much better shape than mine.

I've seen this posted up several times over the years - still waiting for the release of a lexan/polycarbonate version. With all the accessories, this think will set you back over $300 for the body alone. If you've ever driven an RC crawler, you know you wouldn't want to run a body that expensive. It is amazing, though.
I just picked this up in anticipation of someone eventually releasing a $30 lexan version...

looks like a reformed wrangler owner designed it, look at all the shitty bolt ons, its got the poseur quick set.

I actually like it, I think that after you get the fundamentals and make a solid platform all that bolt on "crap" as you say can be very cool.

Bolt on crap like a winch bumper and winch? Roof rack with hilift? Snorkel that actually is a requirement for a lot of areas? :dunno:
