FRONT AXLE SEAL

While I am asking, any 'hints' on how to remove the right/front axle without doing damage to the axle seal? I think I would rather be changing the shorter L/F given the choice. (As soon as I come up with the proper socket, I have to change the R/F 'U' Joint)

Hallo. There are no tricks to slide the long axle shaft carefully back in or taking out. Lube the splines and look out for sharp burrs.
But you have to check there is no dirt in the axle tube you can picking up with the axle end. :dunce:
