Some pics and video from a great trail in Grand Junction

Big thanks to Wally for hosting us and the great spotting!!

That's a long and very hard trail, but it was greatl!!!!

It's 8:00am at the trailhead, 5 rigs airing down and taking doors off.

Right after we dropped in

Wally after the drop in. The trail has so many obstacles, I doubt that they are named.

So now we're down to 4 rigs with the red XJ dropping out. The trail was muddy and he didn't have lockers.

The whole trail had dozens of obstacles like these and harder.

I think it was a little while after this that Don's Rubi broke the R.F. U-joint. We pulled the axle and his outer stub had spread apart but didn't break.

I had an extra u-joint, we knocked it in and
pounded the stub ears together.

Then we did some trail welding with 2 batteries, one pair of jumper cables and some 6011 rod, to spot weld the caps in.

And he was moving again. But not for long, he had weird noises from inside his housing. So he parked it and rode with Wally.

So then there were three and i'm the only one who isn't on one ton axles. Eeek!!

That was an excellent day of wheeling on a fantastic trail.

Thanks again to Wally for hosting us. He has alot of patience helping everyone thru and putting up with my dumbass.

I had to winch myself 4 or 5 times and others a couple. My bumper killed me on a few obstacles, and high centering killed me on a few also.

Can't believe I didn't break axles, u-joint, tie rods, engine mounts, tranny etc. etc.
