Has anyone used 1/8" square tube (2X3) on thier rockers? If so..how well did they work. I gotta head to the metal supply on monday and was planning on picking up 3/16" but thaught I might also build a set with the 1/8" stuff.
What do you think......(lots of big rocks here..but only have hit my rockers a few times)

IMO 1/8 is to thin, I buit mine out of 3/16 and there are holding up great. I have a feeling that if I built them out of 1/8 they would be really messed up right now.

rockrails, or rocker replacement? For rails, I would go with 3/16, but if you are welding in new rockers, the 1/8 seems to work just fine. Difference being that the replacement is supported along the entire length, where a rail is just supported near the ends. HTH
