On thursday night I got a flat.....dunno what did it, but it was about 3 inches long going from tread towards the center. LUCKILY, I wasn't far from my friends house. Once we got the spare on....POOF! it goes flat also. it was a doughnut though. So my jeep had to sit on a jack stand in front of his house until late friday when I could get a new tire put on the rim.
Do XJ"s come stock with doughnuts? I bought mine from someone and I "think" it had a full spare and he took it, but I may be wrong. Also, can I put a full size spare on the stock holder? Thanks

The full size spare was an option. And you can fit either one in the spare holder location.

You may be able to squeeze a 31 in there,but a 30 is a tight fit in my 96.

Yep some had FS spares (my 89 MJ had one as does my 88 XJ Limited, both with matching wheels) as an extra cost option. I "think" Jeeps that were ordered with the Track Lok limited slip also came with the FS spare.
