any ideas on how to bypass the ASD as I have lost my remote, and I want to get my damn jeep started???

Year would help, the XJ's I have looked at, have more than a few different setup's, some are dealer installed. I pulled the module out of my 96 not long ago and managed to successfully bypass it.

actually it is a 1994 GC but no-one asnwers these questions on the other boards

Look above and to the right of the gas pedal and see if there is black box module stuffed up near the heater ducts.

Hallo. Is it not possible to bridge the contacts of the relay foot?
#85 and#86 . #85 is coming from the ignition switch.
#30 and#87 is connected when ASD relay is activated.

is it possible to just unplug the factory alarm? Also this is what I find weird: I have fuel, spark, and compression what the hell else could it possibly need to run, cause I aint got no magic!

But the ECU is managing them. And a few controls go by the ASD relay to the ECU. It's magic.
