Just got a call from my son Daniel. His football team had an away game in Golden today (they won). On the way home they stopped for dinner and some guy beat up one of the kids (15 year old) and another one of our players "Cross-checked" the old guy. I think you may be suprised at what some DB's will do these days, its not unlikely that some prick just walked up and started beating on him. There are a number of different reasons why someone would do that. Years ago, I would say the kid must have said, or done something to provoke it, but now days, ANYTHING is possible. Just have to be glad it wasn't something worse!

Just got off the phone with Daniel. Hoss and another player were outside some restaurant/fast food joint. Hoss and the other player named Josh were talking and Hoss set is drink on the side walk while they were talking. Some older guy comes out of nowhere and starts screaming at the kids for littering (which they weren't) and cursing at them. He then starts punching Hoss and Hoss fought back and Josh knocked the older guy away from Hoss. The old guy then took off and jumped in his car and hauled ass out of there. Josh got the guy's plate number. Cops have been there, taken statements, took pictures, etc.

Daniel just got home. The lastest word is that the cops went to the guys house but he wasn't there. Hoss didn't look too bad, but you could tell he took shot to the cheek/jaw.

When you see a 15 year old boy run right up into his mother's face and call her a "cxxt, a whxxe, and a fuxxing sperm-burping gutter slxt" simply because she came to pick his punk ass after he got a curfew ticket.........

I had to pull from my reserve to hold myself back from giving that kid a beating to within an inch of his life.

And that's certainly not the first time I've ever seen a kid be so blatently disrespectful to another person........ I swear, it's like they KNOW no one is gonna touch 'em.

I'm sorry, but there are kids AND people in this world who need their reset button pressed........ and many of them don't have a verbal button - it's deep in their body and a good pummeling is the only way to reach it.

I agree with you on that Troy. Most kids are way out of line and have moral compasses so far off track they Re lucky to be walking right side up!!

But I will also say a lot of that is the fault of the parents. I still get the piss knocked outta me if I do something out of line or my mouth wanders in front of my mom. Lol. But it's those lickins I took as a kid that some of these kids and parents still need

as frank is a great and stand up guy I would expect nothing less of Daniel and the people he associates with. I'm almost wondering if the adult was a follower of the opposing team?and was looking for a reason to start something due to possibly alcohol?

Not so funny there........ I have seen what someone looks like that GOT ass raped in prison...... I work in one!! I have to go with Frank here the kid probably just attracted a dumbass!
