Ordered one of these today.... It should be here by Oct 1st. I ended up getting it brand new through Sears' online for less than $500 shipped to my door. I tihnk it must have been a misprint, because they usually sell for $1600-1800. I am extatic about it getting here. I really didn't need/want to spend the cash, but my dad has been wanitng a plasma cutter as well so we split the cost.

This should make for lots of interesting mods to the XJ.

Actually not "ANYTIME", my wife would prolly get pretty cranky if we were outside wrenching when she was trying to sleep.

lol. Man, I really need to save up some funds to do something about my XJ. I want to part it out so bad, idk whats stopping me. Maby it's the lack of space and the strict city codes.

I was talking about metal tubes as well. And how does one make a meat tube? Why did you even think of a meat tube? I think you should go see a psychologist.

Anyways.... Elite, I want one of those so bad. I borrowed my brother-in-laws one time. Nevr got to use it because my buddy's shop I went to had so much water in his air lines... it wouldn't hold a "flame"

The link posted still lists it at over $1600. How did you get it so cheap??

I have a light duty Miller that was even more than the $500 you paid. It was around $700. Mine is designed for sheet metal only.

Apparently it was a misprint at sears online where I bought, and when I went to post the link sears had taken it down. So I found a link to one somewhere else to show what I got. The one I bought will cut up to 5/8ths.
